Confidentiality & Trust

Last updated: August 2026

Stack360 exists to help private equity firms and their portfolio-company CIOs share sensitive technology information safely. Confidentiality is not a feature we added — it is the premise of the platform.

Our commitment

We treat information shared with us — whether during a Founding Partner conversation or inside the platform — as confidential. We use it only to provide and improve the service you have asked for, and we do not disclose it to other clients or third parties except the service providers needed to run the platform, under strict data-protection terms.

Information barriers by design

The platform enforces separation between parties. A portfolio-company CIO sees only their own company. A private equity operating partner sees only the companies within their own firm's portfolio. Firms never see one another's data. Where we show benchmarks, they are presented against an industry sector — never a named competitor's figures.

Security posture

Founding Partners

For firms exploring the Founding Partner programme, we are happy to enter a mutual non-disclosure agreement before sharing anything sensitive in either direction.
